Dr. Herrin is founder of the Dartmouth College Eating Disorders Prevention, Education and Treatment Program, one of the most respected programs of its kind in the nation. Currently, she runs a busy private practice specializing in children and adults with weight issues and eating disorders. Dr. Herrin received her master’s of public health from the University of California at Berkeley, and her doctorate in nutrition education from Columbia University.
Dr. Herrin offers nutrition counseling via telehealth focused on eating disorders and weight issues out of the Upper Valley of NH. Individual consultations are available in person, by phone, over email, or via telehealth. Dr. Herrin is a participating provider with most insurance plans including VT and NH medicaid and medicare. Telehealth consultations are covered by most insurance plans. Dr. Herrin also provides clinical supervision to individuals and groups nationally and internationally. At the 2013 International Conference on Eating Disorders, Marcia was inducted as a fellow of the Academy of Eating Disorders (AED). The AED awards Fellow status to recognize achievement of excellence and pioneering contributions deserving of recognition as extraordinary to the international field of eating disorders.
